You are invited to attend our Gospel Meeting! Our song leader will be Ray Walker of Goodlettsville, TN. Our speaker will be Gary Massey of Chattanooga, TN.

The theme on which Gary will be speaking throughout the meeting is:

Growing Closer to Christ.”

God is real. We see His mighty work all around us everyday. He created us and asks us to be close to Him and His Son. How do we “Grow Closer to Christ?” The way that we do this is to live a life that is according to His commands and to trust that He knows what we need and that He will provide for us while we live here on this Earth.

Join us Sunday, September 13th through Wednesday, September 16th.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:3–6

In the first part, we began looking at John 11, and the amazing miracle which John narrates for us — the raising of Lazarus, a man who had been dead…
When Abram, Levi & Saul’s names were changed, they were thereafter called by their new name.  Why was Jacob called both Jacob & Israel after his name was changed?
