How do people in this community perceive you? For what are you known?

How do people perceive this church? For what are we known?

a. Our building?

b. Our enrichment center?

c. Our sign out front?

d. The character of our people?

I would like for us to be known as a church marked by humility.

I realize that isn’t easy, because the most humble person to ever live upon this planet was accused of being an arrogant blasphemer because He made Himself equal with God (John 5:18).

As His followers, we shouldn’t expect to be treated any differently by the world, even when we humbly speak on His behalf. But I would like for real humility to be evident in each one of us — the kind of humility that God sees and that those who are spiritually discerning also see.
