Most of us have never had our lives threatened because we took a stand for God or His Word. Still, it is easy to be fearful and intimidated in the face of minor rejection by those who do not want to follow God.  When Peter and John were threatened by the religious leaders of their day and told “not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus” they responded by saying, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:18, 19, 20).

For what will you be most remembered? Will it be because you wholeheartedly followed God? When all is said and done, this is the only thing which truly matters.
