Today, May 15th 2016, the congregation here at Waverly Church of Christ held a “Mission Emphasis Sunday.”  The Bible Class time was used by the Elders to present information regarding updates from the mission field of the missions that the congregation supports. It was an informative session. The list of world-wide (including the United States) churches and the growth of each is an amazing truth to how God works through His people. 

After the Bible Class hour, the worship hour began. The lesson of God’s Word was spoken by Brother Donnie DeBord of the Lomax Church of Christ in Hohenwald, TN. His presentation of God’s Word and the Gospel of Christ was very clear and well spoken. We are here in the World to follow in the footsteps in Jesus Christ. We are to be like Him. We are to preach the Word of God.
