Regardless of how sinful you have been, there is no residue of that evil once you repent and return to God.  Like the tax collectors and prostitutes of Jesus’ day, God no longer sees what you were but what you want to be.
As Isaiah said, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18).
Through His prophet Jeremiah God promised, “. . . I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more” (Jeremiah 31:34).
Remember:
  • It’s not what you SAY, it’s what you DO
  • It’s not how you START, it’s how you FINISH
  • It’s not who you ARE, it’s who you can BECOME
  • It’s not yet too late (for anyone) to CHANGE
Where are you in your life? Have you turned from your sin and turned to God in obedient faith?  Have you allowed Him to wash your sins away, to make of you a new creation?  Are you walking daily in a way that honors Him?  If not, why not today?
