Walking in the truth doesn’t happen accidentally. It requires deliberate purpose and effort, both to understand it and to walk in it. What we think about God, life, our fellow man and salvation determines how we live. Since Jesus is “the truth”  and God’s word is truth, Satan seeks to mislead us concerning the truth about the person and work of Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s inerrant Word.  It is not only important that we know the truth of God, but also that we work to remain humble in the process. Our growth in truth will then result in love. God , who is a God of truth and love, wants His people to be characterized by truth and love.

Throughout life, we each have evil examples and good examples placed before us. We all need godly examples to follow, but we must be careful in choosing those examples. Do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The prosperous soul imitates godly examples.
