I believe that Jesus lives and that He is presently seated on His throne beside His Father in Heaven.
Because He lives . . .
- ‘I can face tomorrow’ come what may.
- ‘All fear is gone’ — “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me” (Hebrews 13:6).
He is the one who holds the future in His hands — He controls the ultimate outcome of history.
But most of all, I want you to know that “life is worth the living just because He lives.”
- I have a reason for getting up in the morning.
- I have a reason for living my life each day in obedience to His will.
No matter what may happen in this world, you and I have a home to which we are going because He has saved us through His blood and promised an eternal abode with Him. If you are a Christian here this morning, you have this hope, but if you are not a Christian, this hope is not yours. It can be however, if you will come to Him in obedient faith.
