Following Jesus is about more than just learning His message and His lifestyle. It also includes our involvement in the work of the kingdom. Our work in God’s kingdom requires a willingness on our part to endure hardships. It is an urgent work which, if we are Christians, we cannot put off till a more convenient time. Once we commit to it we must never look back, dwelling on past days, but always press forward toward our eternal home.
