God is love (1 John 4:8, 16). He decided to save us before He ever created this earth (Ephesians 1:4).
Why is this good news for us?  A man going about doing good and teaching us how to live did not solve our most basic problem — sin — a sacrifice was needed to take away that sin (John 1:29).  He had to die for us and be buried.  Also a dead body is of no use to us — no we needed someone who proved to be victorious over death, otherwise, Satan wins.
We constantly sing about this good news
I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living, whatever men may say
Death cannot keep His prey, Jesus my Savior
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord
Up from the grave He arose with a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever with His saints to reign.
How can we keep quiet about such good news? It must be shared!
What will you do with this good news?
First, will you apply it to your own life?  Do you realize what the God of heaven has done for you?  The riches of God’s glory has been made available to you.  Please don’t discard it like unwanted mail.
Secondly, will you share it with someone you know?  The early church went everywhere preaching the good news.  Let us do the same — don’t be silent — tell others about Jehovah’s mighty Son.
