Jesus said,
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy” (Matthew 5:7)
In Judgment on the final day, God will not forget to repay those Christians who are compassionate and have shown mercy toward others. But that person who has shown no mercy toward others will receive no mercy from God on that day.
In James 2:13 we find these words,
For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.”
God longs to be merciful to each of us and to allow His mercy to others through our lives. Will you allow it to happen in your life?
