God’s desire for each of us as Christians is that we might become more like Him as we progress toward our final day upon this earth. Love is a fruit of the Spirit of God and is to be developed in our lives. When we hold our lives up to God’s description of love, how do we compare? Is the love which Paul describes evident in your life?

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians  13: 4-7)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . .” (Matthew 28:19a). Jesus told the eleven apostles to “make disciples of all nations.” The apostles mission and ours as well is one with a worldwide scope. Our goal is to make all the world His disciples. You are if you have been baptized “in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19) and are now seeking to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). However, if you haven’t yet come to Christ in obedient faith, why not do so today?
