Do you believe that the devil, a.k.a Satan, is real? In his second letter to the Christians in Corinth Paul wrote that "Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14). In Ephesians 6:12 he declared , "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Today, I want you to know that when you seek to share the Gospel with another person, you are engaging the enemy of God, and he will not relinquish that soul without a fight. Even as you seek to live the life of a Christian, Satan sets himself to oppose you. Knowing our enemy helps us to stand against his schemes.
